4/20/21 Nothing earth shattering, but I did in fact say that out loud when we had to be careful to avoid a woodchuck running across the road. (That would've been a chipmunk or squirrel in MA...!) We are on our way to Niagra Falls. Just went by a street near Linden, NY called "Old Telephone Rd" - now THAT would be a fun address to have!
One of our longest days of travel - about 6+ hrs (via Rte 20). I took the second leg of driving - it was good that I did so so early in the trip so that it felt natural to drive "The Big-Ass Red Fruck" (as I lovingly call it) pulling the trailer. BTW - this baby tows like a dream and you literally don't know it's there.
My driving leg began at a Bass Pro Shop (where we stopped for a P break). I posed outside the store to mark this important moment in time. You might not are able to see me in the picture because I blended in so well (and was giggling the whole time I was taking the pic!!) Props to my VT ladies who share in my possession of our treasured sweatshirts. I think I was destined to be on this trip thanks to that wonderful gift back 4 or 5(?) years ago...
We arrived at the (not very impressive but functional) campground that is located in the city of Niagara Falls. Karl equated it to having a campground on Rte 9 in Framingham. Penny isn't very impressed, but we have access to hot showers and running water, electricity and sewer. It's starting to snow and they're expecting a few inches overnight. And AGAIN I am grateful for this 4 season trailer!!!
